Look at the floorWe come out, lift a corner if needed, and tell you straight what the boards can take and what the finish options are.

Repairs and gap filling firstSplit boards replaced, loose boards fixed, gaps filled with resin or timber slivers before a sander touches anything.

The full grit sequenceCoarse to fine, no skipped grits. This is the part cheap quotes cut and the part your floor feels for the next decade.

Finish, coat by coatHardwax oil or lacquer, applied with proper drying time between coats. We do not hand the room back until it has gone off.

FAQ - Floor Sanding

A single room is usually two to three days including drying time between coats. A whole ground floor takes longer. The quote comes with a realistic timescale, not a hopeful one.
No. Our machines run on dust extraction and we seal the working room where we can. It is still a building job, but the mess stays where it belongs.
Almost always. Paint, bitumen, old patch repairs and gappy pine are standard Bristol fare. If a floor genuinely cannot be saved, we tell you before we take a penny.
Hardwax oil or lacquer. Oil is warmer and easier to patch repair, lacquer is tougher against heavy traffic. We bring samples and let you decide on your own boards.
Yes. The room being sanded needs to stay clear while the finish cures, but the rest of the house is yours. We plan the room order around how you live.
